Stuart's Coming Home
Stuart's move from Hertfordshire to Gloucestershire has meant his regulars don't get as much chance to see him as before. He returned home in July playing both the Hitchin "Rythem Of The World" and Letchworth Garden City Festivals. Taking on the acoustic stages at both venues he got a great reception from his home crowd. Already talking about next year so keep an eye on the gigs page.
Headlining
"Soho Review Bar"
Stuarts back on track after taking a short break from giging and back with a splash after a great performce at the Soho Review Bar. Stuart made full use of the grand piano at this venue and got a great response from the audience with a few new songs being added to his set. The show stopper was his new piano piece "In The Cold Light Of Day". Never standing still, Stuart is back in the Studio at Petworth Sound Studio's recording his next batch of knockout tunes. Keep visiting the music page for updated mp3's. These new trackes are showing off Stuart's more punchy song writing skills and make a great new addition to what will be Stuart's first complete Solo Album.

Singer Songwriter
Competition Winner
Stuart won a singer songwriter competition which ran from to Dec with the finals being held at the Waterside café in Brentford and ran by the SEB Collective. The task for the final was to play one cover song, three original songs and one new song. For the new song each competitor had 10 days to compose a song which had to be entitled "On The Waterfront", a tricky curve ball thrown by the head of the SEB Collective Sam Bennett. Stuart played alongside 5 other finalists in front of a panel of Judges. The judges included Helen Astridge, a renowned vocal coach who has appeared on TV and radio Helen@TheHelenAstridSingingAcademy.com, Jeremy Davis who runs Clubfabulous Music Promotions www.clubfabulous.co.uk, Tony Gad from Aswad www.aswadonline.co.uk and Steve Barker who's been in the industry for over 20 years.
Stuart is delighted to have won this competition, especially with the extremely high quality of all of the artists who played on the night. Along with the cash prize, Stuart won 12 hours recording time with John Landau jflandau@yahoo.com of Petworth Sounds Studio Ltd which he has already put to very good use.
